An qualified civil engineer can find work in a range of sectors, particularly in the construction sector, on buildings and large structures of all kinds, transport and communications infrastructure. You can also work for employers involved in the production, storage and distribution of electricity, gas and water.

The department of Civil Engineering was established in 1964-65. It is the oldest department in the institute. Key points of Civil Engineering Department are as follows

  • The faculty believes in high quality teaching and is very active in institute campus development and improvement
  • The department has good liaison with Collector Office, PWD and other Departments in Nanded
  • Offers consultancy in various fields of Civil engineering to reputed government and private sectors
  • Has developed strong links with the building and construction industry and academic and research
  • The department has awarded excellent grade from NBA in 2003 for 5 Years accreditation
  • Also awarded excellent grade by External Academic monitoring committee for the year 2017-18 from MSBTE Mumbai
  • Actively involved in Unnat Bharat Abhiyan for selected villages by conducting survey projects
  • Department has conducted industrial survey for implementation of implant training for diploma Civil Engineering students
