Information Technology is a one of the emerging computing discipline. Now a day’s Computers became essential work tools at every level of most organizations, and networked computer systems became the information backbone of organizations. Information Technology refers to undergraduate degree programs that prepare students to meet the computer technology needs of business, government, health care, schools, and other kinds of organizations.

IT is a new and rapidly growing field that started as a grassroots response to the practical, everyday needs of business and other organizations. Today, organizations of every kind are dependent on Information Technology. They need to have appropriate systems in place.

The department will be the center of excellence in Training and research in Information Technology to meet the present and future needs of society

Description
Digital electronics or digital (electronic) circuits are electronics that operate on digital signals. Combinational Logic Circuits available in lab : Half Adder, Full Adder, Multiplexer , Encoders, Decoders, Flip Flops, Counters, Memory Arrays etc

Programming Lab




Description
Computer programming is the process of writing instructions that get executed by computers. The instructions, also known as code, are written in a programming language which the computer can understand and use to perform a task or solve a problem.

To learn programming languages C, C++, Java, JSP, Servlet etc


Software Testing Lab




Description
Software testing is a process, to evaluate the functionality of a software application with an intent to find whether the developed software met the specified requirements or not and to identify the defects to ensure that the product is defect free in order to produce the quality product.

To study practicals related to Object Oriented Modeling, S/W Testing


Networking Lab




Description
A computer network, or data network, is a digital telecommunications network which allows nodes to share resources. In computer networks, computing devices exchange data with each other using connections (data links) between nodes. These data links are established over cable media such as wires or optic cables, or wireless media such as WiFi.

Microprocessor Lab




Description
A microprocessor is a computer processor that incorporates the functions of a central processing unit on a single integrated . The microprocessor is a multipurpose, clock driven, register based, digital-integrated circuit that accepts binary data as input, processes it according to instructions stored in its memory, and provides results as output.

Hardware Lab




Description
Computer hardware includes the physical parts or components of a computer, such as the central processing unit, monitor, keyboard, computer data storage, graphic card, sound card, speakers and motherboard. Here we study basic building blocks of computer system.

Basic Electronics Lab




Description
Electronics is the branch of physics and technology concerned with the design of circuits using transistors and microchips, and with the behaviour and movement of electrons in a semiconductor, conductor, vacuum, or gas. Here we study about components such diods, resisters, capacitors, inductors and many more.
